Check in at Patoka Station, located just outside the main entrance to Patoka Lake on the west side of the road.
Upper and Lower Levels (each with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom) have separate entrances and do not connect. They can be rented separately, or you can rent both levels. The Duplex Cabin is located in the Patoka Lodging complex, across the street from Patoka Station.

House Boats - Princess
Check in at the Floating Store at the marina, approximately 3 miles inside the main gate entrance (Newton-Stewart) to Patoka Lake. DNR gate fees apply. Don’t forget to get any last minute supplies at Patoka Station before heading into the park.
Call to reserve your 6 or 4 bedroom houseboat rental. Availability can be seen online. Reserve the houseboats for a whole week to save the most money. Also enjoy big savings in April, May, September & October (see Special Deals).

Our multi-level Duplex Cabins are exceptional options, allowing groups to rent separate upper and lower units to enjoy individual entryways and independent amenities while staying close together. Additionally, our modern standalone options like the 3-Bedroom plus loft Bear’s Den Cabin (featuring 4 queen beds and 2 full baths) and the multi-living area Angler’s Inn Cabin (featuring 4 bedrooms with 5 queen beds and 2 full baths) are custom-built to easily accommodate groups of 8 or more guests.
Yes! If you prefer an authentic experience directly on the water, you can choose our 4-bedroom Princess or Queen houseboat models. These unique floating options can sleep up to 8 people comfortably and come equipped with full kitchens, full bathrooms, and built-in rear waterslides.
For our land properties like Bear’s Den and Angler’s Inn, standard indoor linens and fresh towels are fully provided. However, if you are reserving our Princess or Queen houseboat properties, your group will need to bring your own personal pillows, bed linens, and bath/outdoor towels along for the trip.
Check-in protocols depend entirely on your chosen rental type. For all of our traditional large cabins, you will check in at Patoka Station, situated on the west side of the road just outside the main gate. If you are checking in for a houseboat stay, you will proceed directly to the Floating Store at the marina, located roughly 3 miles inside the Newton-Stewart main gate entrance.
